Plan Chests
C&D produce museum quality plan chests in various standard sizes, specials and bespoke units can be manufactured to order.
Units can be stacked and nested without gaps.
Sloping drawer fronts permit full width pull and present card holders at optimum reading angle. Hinged flaps and rear cover plates prevent drawing curl.
Cabinets comprise one or more drawer units, with cap-on top and plinth base. Only one top and base are needed for each cabinet of drawer units. Drawers run on roller carriages with robust channel slides. Slight check actions prevent backlash when drawer is fully closed,or fully open.
Locks.
Locks and anti-tilt can be supplied controlling all drawers in a unit, as an optional extra.
