Together with our project partners, C&D (Sheetmetal) Engineering Ltd were successful in being awarded the prestigious “Unlocking the Archives” tender for the Royal Geographical Society. The installation was designed in conjunction with Bruynzeel compactus archive mobile storage system. These units were fitted with 1952 No. 33mm deep Planchest drawers, stacked 44 drawers high. In addition to this shelving, special artefact cabinets, X-ray and negative drawers were designed and installed.
